If there was any doubt how much Apple is staking on the iPod--how much they'd like it to be the next WalkMan--this edited update of their 1984 commercial lays it to rest. The commercial seems identical to the orginal, but look closely: the hammer girl is grooving to an iPod.
20 years of innovation and all I get is this lousy pair of earbuds? The iPod is cool, but is it really as revolutionary as the Macintosh?
